Northwest Behavioral Healthcare Services provides residential services to troubled youth, ages 12 to 17. The staff of Northwest has shown itself to be successful with those more "difficult to treat" --- especially those with a dual diagnosis who require a secure setting for their care.

Young people with an eating disorder also find special care at Northwest.  As is true with all our services, our approach is centered on the individual. All aspects of the individual's life are explored and addressed in a supportive environment. We do not concentrate solely on the symptoms of the eating disorder or focus on dieting. Instead individual, family, and group counseling, as well as nutritional guidance, exercise training, and educational sessions are all combined to create the path toward recovery.
